Bulgari sunglasses are known to be deluxe, chic, bold and incredibly luxurious. Well now the Italian fashion house most widely known for its exquisite jewelry and watches, has stepped it up a notch.
Bulgari is using its gold and gemstones in a new collection of sunglasses and optical frames named Le Gemme that is being unveiled in stores this November.
The collection includes optical frames and sunglasses for men and women, starting at $250 for a pair of gold-embellished frames to $12,000 for gold-and-jeweled glasses. In addition, Le Gemme features 10 one-of-a-kind women’s models, priced from $40,000 to $100,000, as a part of the more exclusive Le Gemme Rare line. Bulgari also will collaborate with clients who want to customize their own glasses to add fancy sapphires in pink, violet, blue, green, and yellow; as well as rubies, diamonds, amethysts, aquamarine, and mother-of-pearl, among other gems.
