Founded in 1950 in Gallarate, a town near Varese in Northern Italy, as a small lingerie workshop, today Parah S.p.A. is one of the world’s leading producers of swimwear and underwear.
Every year the company makes approximately one million pieces that are distributed at over 3000 points of sale in Europe and around the world, as well as flagship boutiques and partnership stores. Outside of Europe, you will have to search a bit to find this sought after luxury – but word in 2010 is out that they will be opening a boutique on the Rodeo Drive soon.
